Love poetry

I may never show it
But the pain, it will always be there
Eating up my soul, from the inside out
Crawling through my veins
Reaching for my heart
Trying so hard, just so hard to get in there
But what isn't visible
Is the shield protecting me
Protecting my heart
From you poison
From the evilness of love
And i just allow it
Just let it linger through me
Until there is nothing left
Just the emptiness in my heart.
